Hyundai Takes the Lead in 2025 U.S. News Best Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Awards

IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Tucson Hybrid Earn Top Honors for Efficiency, Style, and Innovation 

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 16, 2025 – Hyundai continues to stand out in the electric and hybrid vehicle space, earning the most awards of any brand in in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Hybrid & Electric Cars  list. The automaker took home three top titles, cementing its reputation for forward-thinking design, advanced efficiency, and exceptional value. 

 

Hyundai’s 2025 Award Winners Include: 

  • IONIQ 5 – Named Best Electric SUV 
  • IONIQ 6 – Awarded Best Electric Car 

 

This marks the second consecutive year Hyundai has led the awards, with over 100 models evaluated across 10 categories based on a rigorous review of performance, range, pricing, and automotive expert feedback.
