Hyundai Motor Co. guarantees the future trade-in valuation of its new Hyundai Genesis and Hyundai Equus models. When you buy a new premium Hyundai model from us, we assure precisely what the trade-in value of that automobile would be following the 2nd full year of ownership through the fourth year. This value is based off of a value forecast of the vehicle by the Automotive Lease Guide.
Hyundai's North American chief executive John Krafcik states, "While Hyundai's depreciation is now among the lowest in the industry, (this program) will remove many of the barriers and concerns about (Hyundai) vehicle ownership.
How does it work?
Customers may present confirmation that they've finished every factory-recommended vehicle upkeep at the World Hyundai Service Department. To qualify for the guaranteed trade-in value, customers MUST show proof that they have completed all factory-recommended Hyundai vehicle maintenance at our dealership.
At the time of purchase, customers will be provided with an assessment of the vehicle's future value for months 24-48, based on an independent source. This is the guaranteed value. When customers return to purchase a new Hyundai during months 24-48 of ownership, they can trade-in their qualifying vehicle towards the purchase of a Hyundai vehicle.
At the time of trade-in, the customer's vehicle will be assessed to determine the current market value. This current market value will then be compared to the guaranteed value.
The higher of either the guaranteed value of the current market value can be applied to the purchase of a new Hyundai. The guaranteed value must be applied towards the purchase of a new Hyundai financed through Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) and only when a customer shows proof of all required vehicle maintenance at authorized Hyundai dealerships.
Program applies to new Hyundai Genesis and Hyundai Equus purchases. Lease vehicles do not qualify for the benefit. Terms and conditions subject to change.
