On Tuesday, May 8th 2012, World Hyundai proudly made a donation to the American Cancer Society (ACS) of the Tinley Park and Orland Park area! Their annual Relay for Life event will take place this coming June 2-3, 2012 from 2:00pm-6:00am. This annual event has nearly four million participants throughout the United States and a growing number of participants in other countries!

Funds raised through the American Cancer Society Relay for Life help to fund critical cancer research and programs such as Patient Navigation Services while also supporting local patient programs, including free transportation pick-up and drop off to cancer treatments.

Relay for life began over 25 years ago in 1985 when Dr. Gordon Klatt from Tacoma, Washington walked a local track for 24 hours to raise money, traveling 81 miles and raising $27,000 for the fund.

Last year in Illinois alone, 209 Relay for Life events were held and raised $16.9 million dollars with more than 71,000 participants which included 12,000 survivors and 8,000 individual teams!

For more information about how you can help to support this local cause, please visit the American Cancer Society Tinley Park chapter's website!

Santa Visits World Hyundai in the Matteson Auto Mall

Even Santa couldn't stay away from the low prices. Before heading around the world to deliver presents to all the good children, Santa came by World Hyundai for their $1.00 over invoice sale! Santa delivered gifts to all of the children, while parents took advantage of the amazing World Hyundai prices. Kids and adults alike had a wonderful time!

The first thing customers commented on was how nice it was to see a car dealership go above and beyond for their customers. In today's automotive marketplace, too many dealerships are just focused on making a sale. World Hyundai is different. They want to build a relationship with their customers, not just sell them a car. Having Santa come and ring in the holidays is just one of the ways World Hyundai customers get extra special treatment at the best Hyundai dealership in Chicago.

Santa had just as much fun as the kids! The great turnout of adults and children all got into the holiday spirit. In addition to handing out gifts for the children, Santa listened to their last minute Christmas wish lists. Even the adults got into the Christmas spirit! Many of the World Hyundai car buyers even had pictures taken with Santa handing them the keys to their new cars! Santa, gifts, and savings - everyone's holidays were brighter, thanks to World Hyundai!
